After today, when someone asks me when I'm due, instead of saying, "December", I can tell them "NEXT MONTH!" How cool is that?!?!?
That is so awesome to me! I'm excited!

31 week appointment/hospital tour
Yesterday was a busy day for my family. We had an appointment with our midwife, and then a hospital tour.
My blood pressure was high at my appointment, it was 136/70 and usually it is 120/70. My midwife was slightly concerned because it had been stable for so long. She's going to recheck it in three weeks, and if it's still high I'll be taken off work to rest until Bunny makes her grand debut. Of course I want to do what's best for Bunny, but I only get 12 weeks of FMLA, so if I leave work at 34 weeks, and she doesn't come until 40 weeks, I'll only be able to spend 6 weeks with her before returning to work. I'm trying not to worry about that, we'll cross that bridge when we get there. And I'm also trying not to worry about the fact that I could be developing preeclampsia and may have do deliver her early. My job is being so wonderful about the whole situation, and they are putting me on restricted duties. Less moving around, less stress, etc. I'm also changing my diet to more fruits and salads, and will be resting whenever I'm at home. Hubby is going to finish her room this weekend, just in case we have to expect her sooner than later.
Everything else went great at the appointment. My belly is measuring 31 weeks, Bunny's heart rate was stable, and I received my flu shot. I had mixed feeling about my flu shot, but since I have asthma it was deemed VERY necessary. Hubby will get his this weekend.
The hospital tour was amazing! I feel really comfortable about delivering there. The staff was great, the rooms were beautiful, and there are jacuzzi tubs and birth balls readily available. Also, they offer aroma therapy to help relieve some of the discomforts experienced during delivery. They also have a wonderful shopping area on the main floor that looks like a mall! You can purchase a breast pump, find the spa, or eat at their nationally recognized restaurant. They said that they try to refer to their patients at "guests", and I could tell. It was like a day spa! LOL!
All in all things are going well. I'm super excited and can't wait to meet Bunny... in at least 6 more weeks!!!

31 week belly
Me and Bunny at 31 weeks. Sorry the picture came out so grainy, I'm not sure what happened there. Oh, and week 31 marks the discovery of my double chin, hence the headless photo. LOL!
Super excited, hospital tour tonight!!!!!!!!! This feels like another milestone for us because I rsvp'd for it in May, right after I found out that I was pregnant. And it's today! Wow!

Preggo brain...
I completely forgot to say this.....
ONLY 9 WEEKS UNTIL MY DUE DATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SINGLE DIGITS PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow!!
I've been absolutely exhausted lately, and I think it's taking a toll on my brain. I've been anticipating posting single digits until full term for the longest time, and then I forget about it. LOL! Great job, huh?
I'm still amazed at how much support we had our our baby shower. Everything turned out so beautifully! My theme was hot pink and zebra print, and we pulled it off! The hall we rented was set up to accommodate 75 people. We ran out of chairs!! I couldn't believe it! I believe we had about 80, or so, people in attendance. We have pretty much everything we need for Bunny, I just want to buy some more onesies and diapers. I feel like my husband and I don't really understand how many diapers we are going to need. I want to buy them in bulk, I'm going to check and see if they have the big boxes of them online at Target, so we can use some of the gift cards that we received.

31 Weeks!!
How far along? 31 weeks preggo. Only 3 weeks away from my next goal! So awesome!
Total weight gain/loss: Unsure, the weight that my scale at home displays fluctuates too much that I can't tell if I went up or down. (I'm SURE I went up though, but don't know how much.)
Sleep: Getting a little bit more difficult. I've had some heartburn lately, and this weird pain in my upper back...
Food cravings: Fruit and candy. Yummm......
Best moment this week: Having our shower! It was amazing! Pictures are to come...
Movement: All the time, and I just love it! So reassuring.
Labor Signs: NO! I don't even want to think about this until 37 weeks... (this answer is going to remain the same until 37 weeks, lol!)Gender: Pretty in pink!
Stretchies: Nope.
Belly Button in or out? It still hasn't "popped", but you can see it through my shirt. Any day now, I'm sure..
What I miss: Being able to get off the couch without any help. Our couch kind of molds around you when you sit on it, so when I try to get up I get stuck. LOL! I have to either roll to one side and then push myself up, or yell for hubby to come help me. I honestly never thought I'd be "that pregnant".
What I am looking forward to: Hitting 37 weeks. Really and truly, I can't wait. And I don't want to set up the nursery all the way until we hit that mark.
Symptoms: Frequent urination, increased appetite, indigestion, fatigue, and increased thirst.
Milestones: Being one week away from 8 months! Yes!!!
Weekly wisdom: Don't eat anything that you don't want to taste later on. My heartburn goes hand and hand with acid reflux, so I'll eat something and then the acid reflux hits and I taste the food again. Yuck!
Emotions: I'm feeling more at peace. We have nearly everything we need for her now! I just want her here safely.

30 Weeks!! (And another goal crossed off my list!)
How far along? 30 weeks!! It seriously feels like just yesterday that I was yearning to be at 24 weeks, and here we are 6 weeks later. I'm so happy that I can cross another goal off of my list. Now bring on weeks 34, and 37!
Total weight gain/loss: For some reason I'm weighing less than I did at my midwife appointment on the 1st. But my scale always differs from hers, so I won't actually know until the 28th.
Sleep: Really good this week. I've been SOOO sleepy!
Food cravings: Candy and junk. I probably ate a pound of candy this week. So sad....
Best moment this week: Seeing that people purchased things off of our registry. Bunny is loved!
Movement: Constantly. It's the greatest thing, and now I can kind of determine a pattern. She does really well at night, we'll see how long that lasts.
Labor Signs: NO! I don't even want to think about this until 37 weeks... (this answer is going to remain the same until 37 weeks, lol!)
Gender: Sugar and spice, and all that's nice!
Stretchies: Still none. My shirts stick to my belly because I oil it up so frequently. LOL!
Belly Button in or out? It still hasn't "popped", but you can see it through my shirt. Any day now, I'm sure..
What I miss: Being able to breathe. Sometimes I feel like I got the wind knocked out of me, and then I start feeling light headed. It goes away quickly if I focus on deep breathing. Thanks to our great Lamaze classes!
What I am looking forward to: My baby shower this weekend. We still have a lot of preparing to do, but it's going to be so much fun.
Symptoms: Frequent urination, increased appetite, indigestion, fatigue, and increased thirst.
Milestones: Making it to my goal of 30 weeks. Only 7 more weeks until full term, and 10 weeks until my due date! Wow!
Weekly wisdom: When craving candy, try eating a piece of fruit first. Or drinking a tall glass of juice. I usually no longer crave candy after doing one of the two.
Emotions: Pretty good, I'm really excited about her arrival.

Hiccups and cartwheels
It seems like all Bunny does these days is hiccup and cartwheel. And I think it's the cutest thing ever! She gets the hiccups about 3 times a day. Maybe more, I don't usually notice them if I'm busy at work or driving.
We'll be 30 weeks tomorrow. That just blows my mind! I'll have to take a 30 week picture, I think my belly went through a slight growth spurt this week. My baby shower is this weekend. When we were planning it, October 24th seemed AGES away, and now it's fast approaching. Time flies when you're having fun. It's so hard to believe that I'm about 10 weeks away from meeting my baby girl. People have bought us some of the big items off of our registry already, for some reason I just didn't think they would. Not that we don't have great family/friends, but to think that they bought our travel system and an additional car seat, AND our baby monitor that comes with a color monitor makes me feel very teary eyed. Our little one is so loved.
I can tell the end of pregnancy is nearing. My desire to get everything prepared for her is increasing, and the love that I feel for her is growing every day. Every time I look down, I have a hand on my belly, just rubbing away. We're getting her crib this weekend. I'm going to have baby items in my house! Ahh!! That makes me want to jump up and down in joy. Hubby and I will also purchase our glider/ottoman if no one buys it for the baby shower. It is unbelievable that after this weekend we'll have nearly everything we need for our little girl! I hope all continues to go smoothly, things have been going so well this far. Only a few weeks left, I can handle that.
I hope everyone has a great week! Happy Monday! :-)

New hairstyle
After looking back on all of my belly pics, I noticed that I NEVER had my hair down! That is so weird. In the first trimester I was too tired to do anything but pull it back. In the second trimester I got it braided, so now that I'm in the third trimester, I figured I should get it done. And oh what a difference! I feel SO much better, it's like my self-esteem has been boosted. Who thought I'd miss the hassle of doing my hair? Not I.....
Just a small disclaimer: it's my real hair, no weave/extensions, and I don't have a chemical relaxer. It was blown dry and flat ironed/curled. I usually don't do curls, but I was feeling spontaneous today. And I feel great!! Woo-hoo! Hopefully I can keep up with it, we'll see.....

29 weeks!! (Only two months until full term!!!)
How far along? 29 weeks, wow, where did the time go?!?!? Oh, and only 1 week away from my goal of 30 weeks.
Total weight gain/loss: Didn't weigh myself this week. Kind of having a hard time with the weight gain...
Sleep: Okay. I still love to feel Bunny move around at night. But I toss and turn because the side that I lay on starts to hurt. It could be worse though, I'm glad that I'm still able to move around fairly easily.
Food cravings: Fruit, candy, and ice cream. Junk food!!
Best moment this week: My sister feeling Bunny move for the first time. Her reaction was hilarious, she actually jumped and screamed!! And picking out her bedding. Lots of pink and purple. She's going to be a girly girl!
Movement: I didn't think it was possible for her to move this much. She's always on the go. I'm definitely going to have a busy one on my hands.
Labor Signs: NO! I don't even want to think about this until 37 weeks... (this answer is going to remain the same until 37 weeks, lol!)
Gender: A daddy's girl!
Stretchies: Nope, I've been massaging oil on so much you'd think I was a masseuse.
Belly Button in or out? More out than in.. Any day now I'm sure it'll pop on out. She loves to roll something (knee, foot, I can't tell) right under my belly button. I think that's making it pop out more.
What I miss: Not a thing.
What I am looking forward to: Our hospital tour and my baby shower!!!! So excited!!!
Symptoms: Frequent urination, increased appetite, indigestion, and fatigue.
Milestones: Getting so close to my next goal of 30 weeks. It seems like I just hit my 24 week goal, it's hard to believe that it was 5 weeks ago! Wow!
Weekly wisdom: Even though your husband might not fully understand how you feel, tell him anyways. He'd rather know how you feel.
Emotions: Better, just waiting for her to make it to term so I can really relax. LOL!
