Let me just say, I am so in love. I appreciate this time even more than I did with Yorlee. Infancy goes by so quickly, so I am soaking it up.

He is five days old and such a joy! Yorlee is adjusting pretty well. We have noticed some regression in a few areas such as bedtime and dinner time. But I'm confident that she will rebound quickly. She loves her brother. That's for sure!

I hope to have a post of some real substance soon.

He's here!!!

Wow, it has been a long few days. Tiring. Trying. But, in the end, it was all worth it. The induction failed. Big time. After Cervidil, a Foley Bulb, and Pitocin my little guy still hadn't budged and I was only 4 cm dialated. We were in the hospital for three days and they finally sent us home. He had other plans for his birth.

Harper Kirk was born on October 31st at 3:08 pm. Weighing in at 7lbs, 9ozs and 19 1/2 inches long. Pictures to come very soon. We just got home and my little guy is demanding cuddles. And milk!

Thank you all for the well wishes!! Oh, and no c-section!! Thankfully!
