I've been keeping up with all of the blogs that I follow, but for some reason when it comes time to post my mind draws a blank.
Finally I said, NO MORE! I'll update this blog if it's the last thing I do.
The kids are doing great. Yorlee is my little smarty pants. She can count to FORTY all by herself. Sure some of the numbers don't exist (such as thirty-ten) but she really has the concept down. She knows her ABC's, colors, and tons of songs. The things that come out of her mouth amaze me ("Mommy, I want to go on an adventure! An adventure on the ocean.") It took me awhile to realize what she was referring to, but come to find out she wants to go on a cruise. No wonder people in marketing get paid the big bucks! They've already convinced my two year old that we need to go on a Norwegian Cruise with Dora and Spongebob. Lol! She has so much emotion, and completely loves her baby brother to bits. At times I have to intervene, because although she is his 2nd mother, she is much less gentle than I am. But that's all a part of being two years old. She is Harper's official spokeswoman ("Mommy, Harper is fussy, he needs some of your milk." or, "Mommy, Harper is tired, he needs to take a nap.", etc.)
Harper is my cuddle bug. At nearly five months old (WHERE did the time go?!?!?) he is nearly 17lbs of pure chunky love. He loves to be held, kissed, and talked to. He also has mastered the art of rolling over (back to belly and belly to back), blowing raspberries, and sticking e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g in his mouth. He also has started sitting up unsupported but is still a bit wobbly.
The love that I feel for my kiddos is all consuming. My heart nearly bursts with all the love I have for them. Seeing my husband be a father makes me love him even more (didn't know that was possible! Lol!), and I have more and more respect for him every day.
I need to update my blog layout and start adding more pictures. I'm going to work on that. In the meantime, here's a few pictures to hold you over.
